Managing conflict in the workplace

Mediator Style Training offers a range of interventions designed to resolve and manage conflict and restore harmony in your workplace. Our workshops are designed to improve workplace culture, preserve or improve relationships, and reduce the risk of conflict escalating to injury claims or industrial action.

Our services include conflict management strategy development, conflict prevention, organisational conflict capacity building, conflict coaching, mediation, and grievance and dispute management.

Conflict Coaching (5 x 1 hour sessions) - tailored, individual conflict resolution

A Conflict Coach works one-one with clients, assisting them to develop new ways to manage their conflicts. Clients develop their own conflict goals and are supported by their coach to explore ways to achieve their goal/s. Throughout the process clients may revisit and re-evaluate their goals, as they test the consequences of their alternative courses of action. More

 

Complaints and Grievance Management Systems— effective, legally compliant conflict resolution solutions

Mediator Style Training  can manage a single complaint or grievance or can assist your organisation to manage high volume complaints and disputes. More

 

‘Mediating ’  Workplace Change—a top-down, bottom-up approach to conflict resolution

With the current economic climate, the majority of us are experiencing some form of organisational change – likely either with restructuring or retrenchments.  Mediator Style Training offers a top—down , bottom—up approach to managing change.  Our consultants can help you develop a strategy for implementing change, train supervisors to be ‘change managers’ and provide employees with workshops that build the  skills that enable them to manage the change process.
